This video required the following key skills:
Pre-Production:
- Figuring out locations
- Writing the treatment according to the artist's vision (document showing the director's idea for the video)
- Creativity in order to come up with the treatment
- Arranging dates & times to shoot
- Creating a shot list of shots we wanted in the video
Production:
- Setting up lighting, camera equipment, & set design
- Making sure to have the correct camera settings (ex: Frame Rate, ISO, Shutter Speed, White Balance, etc.)
- Creativity in order to come up with different camera movements & angles on set
- Making sure the video taken is as visually appealing as possible by creating contrast, creating depth, and having good composition
Post-Production:
- Organizing & arranging clips into a sequence that fits and looks best according to the mood and vibe of the song
- Adding creative but not excessive effects that come and leave at the perfect times
- Adding Sound Design to create depth auditorily
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (Editing Application)
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects (Effects & Compositing Application)
- Knowledge of the best export settings
